If you are a youth pastor or leader we want you to know that what you do matters now more than ever! Today’s teenagers face unprecedented challenges and millions in this generation are in danger of never knowing Christ. Our passion is to do all we can to help you as you live and lead. Thousands of youth pastors and leaders from small churches to large churches have used LEAD222 to grow a healthy life, family, and ministry.

We accomplish this through our clear mission:

Our mission is mentor and coach youth ministry leaders to lead healthy lives, families, and ministries.

LEAD222 is based on 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” This passage and most importantly the model of Jesus shapes the heart of LEAD to “pass on/ mentor / disciple” the next generation. It’s imperative that we sharpen one another as leaders — too much is at stake to try and do it alone. As leaders we need to be healthy personally and in our marriage/ families in order to lead a healthy ministry.

At LEAD our staff and team of certified coaches have decades of youth ministry experience and together we’ve collaborated to create a community of leaders that have impacted and helped thousands of youth pastors since 2004. We continue to learn, grow, and fine tune the best practices and tools such as our 9 Markers of a Healthy Youth Ministry, Lead Marriage Conference, Lead Summit and more.

Our love for God, youth, and youth leaders drive our mission and shape our values.

OUR BELIEFS

  • The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God’s infallible written word, the 66 books of the old and new testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally, and full inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks. We accept those areas of doctrinal teaching on which, historically, there has been general agreement among all true Christians.

  • Our beliefs align with the theological foundations and affirmations found within the historic Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds.

    THE APOSTLES CREED

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy church, the communion of saints ,the forgiveness of sins ,the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN.

    THE NICENE CREED

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. AMEN.
