"Kicking off the new coaching season"
NLCC Zoom Event:
1PM - 3:30PM CST
Join us on August 30th for this year's NLCC as together we start strong this fall.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline!
Whether you're running a race, playing a sport, or beginning a new season, how you start means everything for the journey ahead. If you start slow, it will be an uphill battle. But if you start strong, you will have momentum on your side.
As we look ahead towards the next season of youth ministry, we must start strong. Our own personal health, families, and ministries depend on it.
Presenter: DAVE CHOUTKA
Dave Choutka serves as the Director of LEADSTAFFING and Coaching with LEAD222 a youth ministry coaching and mentoring organization. Before LEAD222 he led youth ministries in both small and large churches for 12 years before jumping into the campus pastor role for 8 years. He is passionate about healthy churches and healthy courageous leaders. He also wants to help leaders grow spiritually healthy so they can lead well in their homes, community, and in their ministry. Dave and his wife Dawn have been married for 23 years and have three awesome kids.
Presenter: JEANNE STEVENS!
Jeanne Stevens is the founding and co-lead pastor of Soul City Church in Chicago, one of America's fastest-growing urban churches. Prior to starting Soul City Church, Stevens was on the pastoral staff at Willow Creek Community Church and North Point Community Church. A sought-after speaker, leader, and writer, Jeanne's passion is to help people wake up to their purpose as they pursue a life of wholehearted freedom. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Jarrett, and their two children. She is the author of the brand-new book: What's Here Now? How to Stop Rehashing the Past and Rehearsing the Future--and Start Receiving the Present.
The NLCC will also feature the first meetings of our "Be With Huddles" for this season where you will get to know others in our coaching community
AND, yes, you can invite other youth ministry friends to join in on this event!
