Our youth of today need wise counsel
and leadership training.
Our youth of today need wise counsel and leadership training. Youth leaders, in turn, require support, guidance, and encouragement so that they can best model what it means to be a committed Christ follower.
Unfortunately, statistics show that pastors are not receiving the help they need to make their ministry sustainable:
(1500 pastors were surveyed)
- One out of three say that being in the ministry is clearly hazardous for their families
- One out of three felt totally burned out within the first five years of ministry
- 71% stated they battle depression beyond fatigue on a weekly and even a daily base
- 30% said they had either been in an ongoing affair or a one –time sexual encounter
- 80% of pastors feel unqualified and discouraged in their role as pastor
If a mentor was available to help out with wisdom, direction and support situations like these could be avoided.
HEALTHY LEADERS LEAD HEALTHY MINISTRIES
LEAD222’s mission is to help those that work with our youth by sharpening them in personal character and leadership skills through ongoing coaching and mentoring. Our goal is to build our LEAD222 Coaching community to coach and mentor 1000 youth leaders. These leaders will then pay it forward by each mentoring one other youth leader.
Many youth ministries’ budgets simply have no margin for the continued development of the youth pastor. Because of the financial contribution of donors, LEAD222 can provide the necessary coaching with no or very little additional financial burden to leaders desiring life and ministry shaping coaching and mentoring.

Personal Coaching and Mentoring
Our coaching and mentoring sharpens youth leaders in their personal character and professional skills. The LEAD222 Coaching Community shares best practices and encouragement for youth leaders on the front lines of reaching a generation for Christ.
Participation in Regional LEAD222 Gatherings
We have practitioners around the country who are launching LEAD222 network Gatherings to mentor and equipping other youth leaders in their local region. These Gatherings help youth workers to become better people and better leaders to reach students for Christ and change youth ministry culture.
Curriculum for coaching Volunteers and Students
We will continue to provide and develop resources that help others implement mentorship in their own unique ministries. We are excited about our growing list of “Be With Resources.”
Provision of Additional Mentoring Resources
We will continue to provide and develop resources that help others develop and implement mentoring in their own unique ministries. We are excited about our growing list of “Be With Resources.”
